In February 2013, Werner Enterprises proudly unveiled the inagural Operation
Freedom truck, Freedom 1.

Werner salutes U.S. soldiers with the military-themed truck, driven by a
veteran and professional Werner driver, that honors veterans as it delivers
frieght throughout the country. Werner's industry- leading military
apprenticeship program is just one example of how Werner provides training and
employment opportunities to U.S. service men and women.

Werner was invited by the president to the White House in recognition of our
ongoing commitment to hire more than 1,000 veterans per year while
participating in the Joining Forces campaign.

Werner hired more than 3,000 veterans in 2 years and is on pace to hire 5,000
veterans over 3 years.
